Brioche bread:
- UPGRAIN® Brioche Loaf (cut into cubes)
Sauce and ingredients:
- 3 Eggs
- 2 ½ cups Milk
- ½ cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon Lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons Butter (melted)
- 1 cup Fresh fruit (for topping - mix of blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, diced mangoes)
Cooking Instructions:
- Grease your baking dish.
- Cube and layer the brioche in the dish, brush some melted butter on top.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon zest (if using).
- Pour the custard over the brioche, and soak for 20-30 minutes so the bread really absorbs all the flavour.
- Scatter your chosen fruit over the top.
- Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes, or until custard is set and the top is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
